VVV (Virtual Volumes View) – Know where your stuff is stored.

VVV (Virtual Volumes View) is a free application that catalogs the content of removable volumes like flash drives, external hard drives, CD and DVD disks for off-line searching. Folders and files can also be arranged in a single, virtual file system. Each folder of this virtual file system can contain files from many disks so you can arrange your data in a simple and logical way.

That’s right. All of the stuff… all of the vacation pictures, all of the client files or all of the recipes you have saved on removable media over the years can now be added to a database which your can search later without inserting those devices. Makes it easy to find your stuff!

VVV also stores metadata information from audio files: author, title, album and so on. Most audio formats are supported.

VVV is available for Windows, MacOS and Linux.
